Zomers genieten

Goedemorgen,

Wat een geweldig weer is het weer... ik geniet met volle teugen van het buiten zijn... nu ik hier zo dicht bij het strand woon ga ik bijna dagelijks met mijn hulphond Sjors op het strand een kop koffie drinken.... dat kan hier omdat er betonnen platen liggen. Na jaren van gemis kan ik weer op het strand komen.... wat een genieten is dat.....

Maar ondertussen blijven mijn mooie hobbyspullen liggen... inspiratie genoeg... zeker na het geweldige Event!!! Gelukkig was ik vanmorgen al vroeg op en ben ik heerlijk mijn knutselhok in gegaan en heb deze kaart gemaakt.

Deze kaart is gemaakt nadat ik inspiratie kreeg van het

ARTSpecially boekje "Stempelworkshops event 2012"

Hierin staat de uitleg van een tag met distress stains en template.... en hiermee is deze kaart geboren...

Voor een uitleg verwijs ik je naar bovengenoemde boekje dat je HIER kunt aanschaffen.

It's been a while since I made on a regular base my cards for the DT of CCWS... but that is going to change. I'm back in the run... and here is my first post for the DT again.

So grateful....

Well... I'm back on track. My new home is incredible beautiful and for the first time since long I'm aible to take care of myself and my household. Back on myself and caring like I should be.

Last year has been a rollercoaster of things happening... bad things.. and good things.

And what I learned is that I'm a very blessed girl. So many help from friends and from unexpected people.....

That is being rich!!! There is no amount of money that can compeed with this.

I'm so incredibly grateful for all that you did for me..... 

And allthough I don't mention you all by name... you know that I mean you!!

Yes you!!!!  Thank you so much for making this house a home for me, my son and our animals!!!

For arranging my craft room.... for finding myself and my happiness back!!!

For everything you all did!!!

Welcome new May release stamps from Sweet November

Happy May 1st..... 

Today we start with the new stamps that are released by Sweet November!!! This time Amy went back in time and designed these 3 charming ladies... at first I thought what do I do with them... but when searching for the right papers I grew into the girls and started to adore them deeply!!!

They are so charming and gentle....we start with Tilly today!

Review for All That scraps

Well... almost the last card that I have as a Design team member for All That Scraps.

I have to say that I feel so sad about it.... and this card that I made expresses that feeling very well.

I used the Umbrella Logo stamp set.

* I used Chromolux 700 glossy papers. 

* added Distress stain Stormy sky and Picket fence to my craft sheet and used my ink roller to mix the colors and to roll it onto the paper.

*Let it dry well!

* Stamp the umbrella's onto the well dried paper and emboss them with different kind of embossing powders. I used Distress Powder Faded Jeans, Ranger's Rainbow Sparkle and Wow snow white glitter.

* I colored the open umbrella's with different shades of blue Distress inks and vintage photo.

* Cut out a tag and stampel the text stamp to it and inked the edges.

* Inked the edge of the white paper and added it together.

Preview time

Goodmorning Ladies,

Today is the first day of the brand new All That Scraps April stamps! And this month it will be the last time I will show these lovely stamps as a team member.

Due to my health issues I'm forced to step back in all my Design team work. And with a lot of pain in my heart I stepped down from the fantastic All That Scraps Team. I thank Christine for the chance I had in her team and to work with her more than fabulous and cute stamps. I sure will miss this!

Spring Banner for All That Scraps

Good afternoon Ladies,

Allthough my health issues are not good, I still have the delight pleasure to craft now and then.

So when the new release of March stamps arrived at my home I instantly knew what to make with the cute Spring has Sprung stamps.

Here is a lovely Spring Banner that I made with the brand new 

"Spring has Sprung" by All That Scraps.

I made a template of the banner wich you can download at the All That Scraps Blog.

Stamps the images and color them with the desired medium. I used pencils and cut them out with a die of choice.

Cut out the template and ink it with the desired distress ink.

 

Ink the edges of your colored images.

Cut the end of the banners loose or leave them attached and make a card from the banner.

 

Add ribbon or lace in the banner and spray with Glimmer Mist (or other glimmer spray)

Add the images with 3D foam on the banners and embellish as desired.

The result..
